This World Is So Mad: I Am Delighted

[Transmigration] [Strong Female Lead] [Female-Centered] [No Romance] [Hilarious]

On her first night after transmigrating, Ye Qingwu witnesses something beyond her understanding. There's only one word for it: insane.

After absorbing the memories, she learns that this is a matriarchal world where women outrank men, and she is the eldest imperial princess, heir to the Great Xia Kingdom.

Heavens, with an identity this powerful, she can do whatever she wants! Ye Qingwu dreams of living a comfortable life as a lazy layabout, but there are always troublemakers trying to harm Her Highness.

Very well, then. I'll show you how a female version of the First Emperor is made.

But when every kingdom she conquers means two more consorts waiting at home, Ye Qingwu finds herself completely overwhelmed.

Who understands the misery of having to fulfill her marital duties every single day of the month?

Every time she sets out on a campaign, she hears the same pleas:

"Your Majesty, you must return safely, or your consort will become a widower."

Her breathtakingly handsome father wipes away his tears. "Awu, you must return safely, or I, your royal father, will be left a widower."

Her children cling to her trousers. "Mother Empress, you must come back safely, or we'll be left without a mother."

Sigh... Ye Qingwu really wants to say: I won't die on the battlefield, but I might well die in bed.

Whenever she returns from a campaign, she's greeted with:

"Your Majesty, you haven't visited my chambers in days!"

"Your Majesty, the Imperial Consort made you this tonic. Please try some!"

"Your Majesty, your consort misses you!"

"Your Majesty...!"

"Your Majesty...!"

Ye Qingwu finally understands why emperors in ancient times all died young.

Their kidneys just couldn't keep up...
