On a Variety Show, Did I Wander Into a Real Cultivation Sect?

The ordinary world in the eyes of the masses is merely one corner of a vast universe. A seemingly routine variety show shoot tears open a crack in reality. Before the cameras, nine beasts soar into the sky as nine tiers of gates swing open and spiritual energy surges like a tide. “Director! Those aren’t special effects, right? They’re flying!” The PD stumbles back two steps, voice trembling. “C-can we air this? Have we wandered into some forbidden place?” The director grits his teeth and tries to stay calm. “It’s a secret attraction in S City. Just go with the local customs. Don’t panic. Hold on to my camera. If we drop it, we really won’t have any footage to turn in!” Amid the crowd, a figure stands perfectly still. Her sleeves do not stir, yet her gaze has already pierced time and space. Shang Mo looks up and softly says: “Long time no see, Celestial Master of the Nine Tiers and Nine Gates~” She hasn’t come here as a tourist, nor to film a variety show. She is someone fate has brought back to an old place, carrying unsolved mysteries and old grudges. So what if you sit alone in the grand hall? Are you friend or foe? At this moment, even heaven and earth are holding their breath, waiting for the answer.
