There are martial artists and cultivators in this world, and above them all stand the immortals, yet the hierarchy between them is as vast as the divide between heaven and earth. Beyond the nine heavens, does only the Heavenly Dao watch coldly?
What truly separates humans from immortals? It is harder for a cultivator to become an immortal than to climb to heaven. Mortals are trapped by birth, aging, sickness, and death, without even the right to sanctify their bodies, attain a golden body ten thousand feet tall, or take their place among the immortals. What kind of fairness is that?
Why should only mortals have grievances, love and hate, and selfish desires? Heavenly Dao, do you truly have no trace of the seven emotions and six desires?
If this world is unjust, then I will break it with my own hands!
