Two female leads: the elder sister is devoted, while the younger sister is flirtatious yet devoted.
The legacy of a hereditary family, a thousand years of rise and decline, and the dawn of a new era for the family. Winning an empire is hard; holding on to it is harder.
Female lead one, the elder sister, Lu Anxin: devoted and faithful to one man for life, rejecting all extramarital affairs.
Female lead two, the younger sister, Lu Anqi: flirtatious and promiscuous.
Male lead: Qian Sifei, a general with a personal guard army.
Second male lead: Shen Ke, the younger sister's moonlight, like a brother and father to her.
Third male lead: Jin Ti, the one the younger sister tricked into her grasp.
Fourth male lead: Lu Cheng, dependent on the younger sister and deeply in love with her, bold enough to act recklessly.
