A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality: The Sequel

The universe's source is collapsing. Spirit entropy runs rampant, Dao marks rust away, and stars wither. The cultivator Han Li sails alone through the desolate sea of stars aboard a star skiff, witnessing the Star-Ring Federation launch its cold “Ark Project.” It drains the vitality of dying starfields to build an escape fortress, concealing a plot by the “Shadow of Immortality” to resurrect the Immortal Realm. Han Li infiltrates the Federation, sees through the scheme, and alters the plan, triggering internal strife.

At the same time, Han Li encounters the mechanical Buddha “Enlightened One Zero” on the Net of All Knowledge. Enlightened One Zero questions whether the Heaven-Palm Bottle Han Li relies on, now showing signs of rust, can control spirit entropy, the “cancer of universal self-devouring.” Han Li ventures deep into the Ruins Graveyard, where he faces corruption and dimensional hunters, and discovers that spirit entropy is a cancerous mutation at the level of the laws themselves.

To save all living beings, Han Li forcefully advances the path of reverse entropy against the Shadow of Immortality, but spirit entropy begins to corrupt him, causing searing pain in his soul. At the critical moment, he crushes a Crystal of All-Knowledge Purification and merges it with the Heaven-Palm Bottle. The bottle transforms and pours forth breaths of purified entropy. Han Li forges the “Entropy Sea Ark,” turning it into both a beacon of salvation and a vessel. He searches for and rescues survivors from doomsday civilizations, including humans, demons, and mechanical beings, even as the rust consuming him grows ever worse.

The ultimate despair incarnates as the “Shadow of the End,” descending and devouring space and time. Han Li covers the fleet's retreat as half his body decays. He pours the reversed power of purified entropy into Enlightened One Zero's “Bodhi Core” and the remnants of creation. Combining technology, the Immortal Dao, and the will of countless living beings, and harmonized by the Heaven-Palm Bottle, he ignites the “Flame of Mortality,” a symbol of life's resilience. The mortal flame drives back the End, but Han Li's body crumbles away.

His true spirit merges with the mortal flame, becoming the ever-changing core of the “Eternal Everbright Realm.” This realm shelters low-entropy civilizations and becomes an undying beacon in the sea of entropy.
