Snow Whirls Across the Rivers and Lakes

The Martial World and the Realm

I am a wanderer of the martial world, braving frost and snow on my way.

At dawn, I dance with my long sword; at dusk, I return and take my leave of the grand halls.

The flash of a blade startles swallows and sparrows; the shadow of a sword cuts down insects and snakes.

In the end, white bones have no tombs. What virtue do generals and ministers possess?

A tribute to Jin Yong, offered with heartfelt respect. I present this humble work and hope you will forgive its shortcomings.

In the chaotic final years of the Sui dynasty, fighting and killing never ceased among the martial sects of the Central Plains. Taking advantage of the mainland’s weakness, the Japanese conspired with Qian Du Tang in Qianzhou, seeking to annex the martial world of the Central Plains. At this time of peril, young heroes such as Bai Yuliang and Chu Mingfeng emerged to defend their homeland with unshakable loyalty. Scheming, chivalry, promises, and tragedy all come together in the martial world, in one stirring tale after another.
