Tianshi Xiao Xiao accidentally inherited a "ghost-seeing sorrow" manor that had been abandoned for hundreds of years - Qiyun Village. It is a gloomy place with strange residents: A Xiu, a female ghost from the Republic of China who sings out of tune, a starving chef named Tao who is determined to conquer Michelin with will-o'-the-wisps, Mo Yan, a book spirit who is knowledgeable but socially fearful... And the guard dog demon, flower demon, and koi spirit have joined in one after another.
Xiao Xiao did not take the ordinary path, using the manor as his base, practicing meritorious deeds like clocking in to work. She opens the ghost door with her bare hands as if she were opening the back door of her own house, draws talismans from the air and draws them at her fingertips. Her strength is unfathomable, and she is a brother-in-law with the top officials of the underworld (Lao Hei, Xiao Bai, and Judge Cui). When she was not famous, she was busy cleaning up the mess in the manor; after she became famous, big bosses from all walks of life (Xuanmen masters, demon clan elders, and Western bishops) stepped in and begged her for help, which made her roll her eyes in annoyance.
The plot is both absurd and heartwarming: on a rainy night, I pick up a cute baby named Nannan, whose life experience is a mystery, and starts her career as a nanny; I take the baby to the demon market and solve the old grudges of the fox demon; the exorcism in the haunted house is broadcast live, and the ghosts are ripped apart with bare hands, shocking the entire Internet; I was even invited by the Lord of Hell to be a "special guest" at the annual meeting of the underworld, and walked on the red carpet carrying snacks... Faced with the evil intentions of Xiao Xiao who covets the manor or dares to touch her "family", Xiao Xiao only has one sentence: "Touch my people? Have you asked me?!"
When the big guys from the three worlds gathered at Qiyun Village, Xiao Xiao waved his hand: let's have a dinner! The god of cooking, Lao Tao, takes charge of the cooking, Huai Bo hosts, A Xiu sings, and the girl accepts the gifts with a soft hand. The deserted garden turns into a pure land, and the daily life of chickens and dogs is a warm legend that Xiao Xiao and his partners guard together and belong to Qiyun Village alone.
Strong women have no CP in the early stage, but may have it in the later stage. Xiao Xiao eliminates the ceiling of strength and focuses on career and raising children.
