After the Snowstorm Passes

IT hotshot, heir to a wealthy family, and tender-hearted romantic vs. cool, cultured concept artist and peerless beauty

[CEO romance + modern romance + ensemble school-life cast + workplace and corporate intrigue]

From childhood sweethearts to lovers, then boss and subordinate.

A mature, gentle male lead and CEO who never speaks harshly to the heroine, only to everyone else.

A cool, aloof artist with a bold streak. She looks obedient, but is rebellious to the core and always stands up for people in need.

The heroine’s mother, Ji Xian, became pregnant before marriage. After giving birth to Ji Chenxi, she went abroad to build her career alone, leaving Ji Chenxi in China to be raised by her best friend, Qin Wei. Meanwhile, after Qin Wei’s older sister passed away, her nephew Lin Yu’an found himself alone amid the power struggles of the Lin family. His aunt Qin Wei became his only refuge. Growing up under the same roof, Ji Chenxi and Lin Yu’an met when they were young and developed a secret affection for each other.

The power struggles and scheming for profit within a wealthy family were enough to make anyone’s blood run cold. Lin Yu’an’s stepmother and half-brother wanted to seize control of the company. The heroine, Ji Chenxi, became the lead concept artist at Xingju Games, a subsidiary of the Lin Group, and held the fate of the company in her hands.

When Ji Chenxi was thirteen, her mother returned to China and took her away from Qin Wei. They lost touch, and three years passed before they met again.

“Lin Yu’an, you’re shameless!”

“So what if I’m a little shameless? It’s not like you like me anyway...”

On New Year’s Eve, after the reunion dinner, the two watched the fireworks by the living room’s floor-to-ceiling window.

Ji Chenxi: “What’s your wish for the new year, Mr. Lin?”

Lin Yu’an: “My greatest wish has already come true. Now I only hope my fiancée stays safe and healthy, and lives a carefree, happy life.”
