Ruan Nanyi had been in a vegetative state for years. The moment she opened her eyes, the world had changed. She had somehow entered the melodramatic Mary Sue novel she had written in her younger, more foolish days!
Even more outrageous, she hadn’t become the universally adored heroine. Instead, she was now the doomed cannon-fodder character... the airheaded supporting actress, Nalan Qing!
And the chief sacrificial character destined to be disgraced and meet a tragic end was none other than the “perfect child” from someone else’s family whom Ruan Nanyi had both loved and hated in real life!
The plot went off the rails on day one! Nalan Qing was supposed to fail at her entertainment-industry debut and fade into obscurity. Instead, she won first place and became a star in the spotlight!
Watching her former “prisoner on the page” shine so brightly, Ruan Nanyi abandoned her gentle, understanding act, her eyes blazing with determination.
“Nalan Qing, the script is canceled! From today on, we’ll each make our own way!”
When the “god” falls from her throne and becomes a cannon-fodder supporting actress, while the “cannon fodder” is bewildered from the start yet unexpectedly becomes a sensation, this entertainment-industry battleground, overturned by the author herself, is anyone’s game!
Come on, you are the best!
