The Seven Taboos

My dad never allows anything with the number “7” in it into our home.

Phone numbers, house numbers, price tags: if he sees a “7,” he flies into a rage.

I asked on a mental health forum if this behavior could be OCD.

But I received a strange warning:

“Delete your post at once! This secret will destroy your family!”

“If you want to live, never ask your father why he fears the number 7!”

My aunt didn't take it seriously. She deliberately gave Dad seven flowers and a check for 70,000 yuan on his birthday.

That very night,

my aunt was found in her bathtub, her body covered in the number “7.” The coroner couldn't determine her cause of death.
