Reborn in the Primordial World as the Chief Immortal of Chan Buddhism

Lin Yang died after bravely helping someone, then transmigrated into the primordial world and was reborn as a wisp of innate Five Elements origin energy.

He attained Golden Immortal cultivation as soon as he took human form. Just then, the Heavenly Venerable Yuanshi returned from listening to the Dao in the Zixiao Palace and accepted him as his sole disciple.

At this time, the primordial world had yet to open. Nüwa had not created humanity, Houtu had not transformed into the cycle of reincarnation, and heaven and earth remained in primordial chaos.

Cultivation was difficult, and the myriad races vied for supremacy. A single misstep could mean the destruction of both body and spirit.

An unexpected golden finger caused his cultivation speed to skyrocket. His comprehension was heaven-defying, and techniques came to him as easily as breathing.

He mastered both the Nine-Turn Profound Art and the Nine-Turn Origin Art, cultivating his physical body and primordial spirit together and crushing anyone at his level.

A thousand years of hard cultivation for others amounted to just one day of progress for him. Beneath the Sages, all were mere ants.

He acquired the Hongmeng Measuring Ruler, the Sea-Calming Pearls, and the Good Fortune Azure Lotus, and excelled at alchemy, artifact forging, and formations.

He climbed Mount Buzhou, obtained Pangu’s legacy, took a bamboo-eating beast as his mount, and found the Chaos Pearl while searching for treasure among the Three Immortal Isles.

He helped Nüwa mend the heavens and earned merit, became a teacher to humanity, instructed Xuanyuan and Dayu, and made his name known throughout the primordial world.

He took in Yang Jian and Yang Chan, taught them the Nine-Turn Profound Art, and helped them split open a mountain to save their mother, shaking the Heavenly Court with their might.

When the Investiture of the Gods began, he took the throne of Ziwei, broke the Nine Bend Yellow River Formation, and used the Chaos Pearl to attain the Dao.

With his mastery of the laws complete, he ultimately became a Sage through sheer power, the only one in the primordial world to reach Sainthood by mastering the laws.

From then on, he stood at the summit, commanded the destiny of the Chan Sect, and became renowned throughout the heavens as the greatest immortal of all time.
