My name is Li Zheng, and I was born in a village called Lijia'ao in Gannan, Jiangxi. Our place is surrounded by mountains and has inconvenient transportation. For generations, the people in the village have lived on a few acres of thin fields. It is an ordinary small mountain village.
My life was picked up from the gate of hell when I was seven years old.
The cause of the incident was that the family was building a new house. In the rural areas of the late 1990s, building a large blue-brick house with tiles was a major event that allowed a family to stand tall in the village. For this house, the family spent almost all their savings, and my father was embarrassed and borrowed money from relatives.
When choosing the site, my father invited several respected elders in the village to come and see it. Everyone agreed that the open space at the entrance of the village was the best, with flat terrain and spacious space. Not far from the door was the small river in the village that continued to flow all year round. So, they invited the town's masons to start the work with gongs and drums.
In the whole village, no one understands Feng Shui. No one can tell that the "treasure land" that everyone praises is, in terms of Feng Shui, a desperate place that can kill living people. The terrain of our village is backed by rolling mountains and surrounded by rivers in front. And that piece of land happened to be at the lowest point of the mountain col. There are three towering peaks behind. The mountains are steep and shaped like three sharp knives. The blades are evenly facing the foundation of the new house. The small river in front of the door also made a sharp bend here, forming a "reverse bow" shape, like a fully drawn bow, with the arrow pointed at the location of the future door.
