[Catastrophe + Superpowers + Farming + No Romance]
Seven days of torrential rain turn the world into an ocean. Zombies emerge, disease spreads, and civilization collapses. Only that flash of red still flies.
While everyone else fights over canned food, weapons, and grain in the apocalypse, I, Lin Wan, a librarian, awaken the most absurd superpower imaginable!
I can bring things from books into reality.
Copy out The Barefoot Doctor’s Manual, and a hemostat appears in my pocket.
Restore Records of the Grand Historian, and a bronze artifact materializes.
The craziest thing is that someone tries to make me bring The Complete Guide to Weapons into reality.
The state rushes books away, then brings in more for me to bring to life.
A child cries as she hands me Journey to the West. “Big sister, can you bring Red Boy and his Samadhi True Fire here to wipe out the zombies?”
I gently stroke the child’s head. “Big sister isn’t that powerful.” Things that don’t really exist can’t be brought into reality.
[Reader’s Note]
1. The author isn’t well-read and hasn’t read many of the books mentioned. Some were too difficult to understand, so I did some research online and adapted them where appropriate.
2. My writing is amateurish, so please be patient with me.
