Unrequited Love Is a Rainy Season

In high school, I had a crush on the most popular boy in school, my desk mate. My family was poor, so I worked part-time for a whole year to buy him a gift. On the day my father was in a car accident, I heard him say to his friend: “How could I possibly wear such a cheap watch? Even my dog’s leash costs more.” His buddy laughed even more brazenly. “We know you’re rich, young master, and wouldn’t want something like this. Why not give it to me to sell? I could buy myself a few cups of milk tea.” “Take it.” As Jiang Yu tossed the watch away, he spotted me nearby.
