She’d only been working overtime until midnight. On her way home, someone ripped out her heart.
When she opened her eyes again, snow was falling everywhere. An actor in a vivid red opera robe slowly turned toward her and reached out a hand.
“Will you come with me?”
Feeling her own body grow cold, Xie Qingci reached for his hand with all her strength...
From then on, the real world lost a lonely office worker, and a small theater appeared at the mouth of an alley in Cangnan City.
Then came the Divine War of Cangnan. Thinking of the city’s fate, she looked once more at the theater.
Xie Qingci slowly opened her umbrella. She made Cangnan the stage and the gods the cast, and rewrote the ending of this regret-filled world.
A blood-red mist covered the sky. A crimson staircase stretched down from above as countless spectators watched her climb it.
One step, then another. Her red robe billowed, and cracks spread across her body.
At the very top, she glanced back at Cangnan below and smiled faintly, then turned to face the mist.
“Let the show begin.”
It's very beautiful, but why doesn't anyone watch it?
