My name is Laisens, an utterly ordinary evil spirit hunter. Well... perhaps the only evil spirit hunter. I don't know why I have this job. My mind is a blank, and I've forgotten a lot of things. That doesn't matter. My subconscious tells me to kill evil spirits. They're rarely seen in the city where I live, and most people have never even encountered one. As a result, I'm seriously short on money, so I can only take on other work to cover the upkeep and repair costs for my weapons.
One day, I heard a rumor that lots of evil spirits had been spotted in the neighboring city of Fallen Heaven. I looked up a ton of information and learned that the city lies in a gap between Heaven and Hell. Since it's so close to Hell, it's full of evil spirits.
So I packed my bags and came to this city called Fallen Heaven. As soon as I arrived on a street, I saw... well, something pretty novel: a huge, black-and-red pile of crap, and two beautiful girls. How do I put it? No matter what I say, I can't describe how beautiful they are.
Oh, turns out they're angels. But... something about them feels a little off.
Still... as long as there are evil spirits to kill, that's all that matters! I don't care about anything else.
