Journey to the East

A Ming Dynasty novel about gods and demons, also known as "The Legend of the Eight Immortals in Shangdong" or "The Origin of the Eight Immortals' Journey to the East". It mainly tells the story of the eight Taoist immortals who are widely circulated among the people - Tieguaili, Han Zhongli, Lu Dongbin, Zhang Guolao, Lan Caihe, He Xiangu, Han Xiangzi and Cao Guojiu - who became Taoists and became immortals. They also went to the Peach Fair together and showed their magical powers to fight with the Dragon King when crossing the sea. It is an important carrier of the story of the Eight Immortals.
