Shattered Dreams Beneath the Clear Sky: A Record of a Tormented Master-Disciple Romance is a tragic romance set in an ancient-style world of immortals and martial arts. Its central characters are Shen Li, the disciple, and Ye Hanzhou, her master. Through dual storylines, it depicts the tragic fate of a master and disciple bound by love and hate.
Story Background
Every hundred years, the cultivation world must select a “Spirit Womb Vessel” to avert an apocalyptic calamity, and Shen Li possesses the rare “Moonlight Spirit Womb” constitution, seen only once in a century. On the surface, she is the Clear Sky Sect’s foremost disciple. In truth, she bears the secret mission of using her spiritual power to suppress demonic energy. Her master, Ye Hanzhou, the youngest sect leader in the Clear Sky Sect’s history, is renowned throughout the land for his ice-aspected swordsmanship. But the trauma of the Battle of Shattered Moon Gorge a hundred years ago forced him to take Shen Li as his disciple, secretly using his own spiritual power to suppress the demonic energy raging within her.
