Honkai: Star Rail: Chronicles of the Cosmos, Wandering Among the Stars

(All-Star God, second playthrough) (The story should read better from Volume 2 onward, since the author took some time to refine it in the middle.)

“I have witnessed six conflicts across the cosmos.

I gazed up at the sky from the wheat fields of my homeland, as a swarm of dark, silent bugs filled my entire field of vision.

I witnessed the wails of inorganic life across the cosmos, as they disputed the verses about the Emperor.

I watched the light-arrows of the Reignbow fall with my own eyes, writing epitaphs for one group after another.

You ask who I am?

I’m just a madman obsessed with saving the world.”
