An archenemy is an archenemy. How could an archenemy ever become your wife? A cool beauty who is tough on the outside but soft-hearted vs. a goofy, scheming flirt
[Mutual firsts, 1v1, archenemies, sweet romance, equal parts case-solving and romance]
Two lawyers who made names for themselves at a young age work at a well-known law firm in City A. Everyone knows they can't stand each other.
Their rivalry goes back to college, where they fought tooth and nail. They thought they would go their separate ways after graduation, but in graduate school they were assigned to the same advisor, and after graduating, they somehow ended up at the same law firm.
Gu Qingshu thought he and Zheng Xing would go on fighting forever, but then Zheng Xing got into a car accident and lost his memory?!
“Come on, I only beat you for the top spot in the overall evaluation once. Was it really necessary to put me in the hospital?”
“Believe me, I'll get someone to beat you up right now.”
After losing his memory, Zheng Xing had no choice but to stick close to Gu Qingshu, whose life had followed a remarkably similar path to his own, hoping to recover his missing memories. Gradually, Zheng Xing realized that the person he hated wasn't all that unbearable. Gu Qingshu would work day and night on a case, glare with his round eyes when he was angry, and get red at the corners of his eyes like a rabbit.
Later, Zheng Xing regained his memories. For a while, he refused to admit that his feelings about the archenemy who had opposed him every day had changed, and tried to hide the fierce love in his eyes.
At the celebration party after the case was solved, a colleague asked whether working together on the defense for so long had changed Zheng Xing's opinion of Lawyer Gu.
Zheng Xing looked at Gu Qingshu, resting with his eyes closed in the corner of the sofa. The love in his eyes could no longer be concealed.
“Didn't you say anyone who dates me is doomed?”
“Who said that?! It certainly wasn't me.” Zheng Xing clung to Gu Qingshu and whined.
I think it looks pretty good. No comments. T T The setting feels quite novel! The writing is also good.
