I Was Meant to Be a Star in the Heavens

[A short Honkai: Star Rail fanfic: a beloved-by-all heroine, no pairings, and only one-sided crushes. Yingxing stands alone.]

Yingxing is a short-lived genius craftsman, yet he has driven the four brightest stars of the Xianzhou to madness:

General Jing Yuan builds him a nest, willing to be the one harbor he can call home;

Sword Champion Jingliu’s icy heart melts, her scarlet eyes reflecting only him;

The Vidyadhara High Elder becomes obsessively fixated: “If I can’t keep you alive, then I’ll lock away your soul!”

The Star Skiff girl laughs and draws her bow: “Run away with me! We’ll roam wherever we please, all the way to the edge of the stars!”

But his heart belongs to the forge. He tempers weapons in blood, seeking only to destroy the abominations of Abundance with his mortal body.

Until Baiheng dies in battle, and Dan Feng drags him into a forbidden resurrection ritual...

The flames of the “Moon Madness” blaze across the heavens! Jingliu points her sword at the one she once loved: “I’ll grant you release with my own hands.”

When he opens his eyes again, he has become Blade, a Stellaron Hunter who cannot die and longs only for death.

A century later, they meet again on the Luofu.

Jing Yuan holds him captive in his arms: “Come back and be my star, won’t you?”

Dan Heng, reincarnated as a High Elder, backs away trembling: “How can I ever repay you for your hatred?”

Mara-struck Jingliu’s sword drips with blood: “Either kill me, or fall with me into the abyss!”
