Surviving in a Strange World by Hook or by Crook

A Bowl of Blood Every Day? I Feed the Supernatural with Beast Blood

I transmigrated to a world of the occult, where a bowl of fresh blood must be left outside the door after dark. Otherwise, the whole family will be eaten by supernatural creatures. Women are forbidden to leave home during the day, while men must work in the mines. Each day, they receive one and a half catties of grain. After I was rescued, I became a porter, but the two women in my family have reached their limit from taking turns giving blood.

Luckily, I have a synthesis System: a chicken can advance to a martial artist, and a cow can break through to the Marrow-Cleansing realm. Both are in the mine, so I decide to risk stealing them.

The night I use cow’s blood instead of human blood, the chewing sounds outside the door suddenly stop. When women across the whole town step outside for the first time during the day, the patrol team kicks down my front door.
