[Cold, aloof, and unhinged immortal lord x cunning, slightly unhinged celestial fox] [False salvation, true captivity + heart removal and core extraction + corruption and revenge + sweetness and angst to the bone + one-on-one romance]
Yue Po is the last Dark Moon Celestial Fox in the world. Her pelt is worth ten thousand spirit mountains, and her demon core, the Dark Moon Pearl, can drive an immortal lord mad.
The day she escaped the purgatory pill furnace, the supreme Ling Xu Immortal Lord of the Ninth Heaven's Cloud Court swept away her pursuers with a single sword strike, its frost chilling fourteen provinces.
He brought her to the summit above the sea of clouds. Spiritual power flowed from his fingertips as he groomed her bloodstained silver fur. He bestowed immortal dew and precious medicines upon her, sheltering her beneath his wings.
He was the coldest peak of snow in the Three Realms, yet he alone gave her a sliver of warmth. Yue Po was enthralled, believing she had grasped the light of salvation.
Until, in the immortal lord's secret chamber, she uncovered that bloodstained secret order: “The Dark Moon Celestial Fox is born with a demon core, a supreme treasure capable of breaking through realms. Whoever finds it... shall destroy its body and take its core!”
The seal at the bottom was unmistakably his: Ling Xu's sword mark!
The hand that gently groomed her fur was the same hand that signed the order for her execution;
The immortal lord who gave her a place to call home was also the sword of extermination hanging over her head!
Yue Po licked her fangs and smiled. What a pure-hearted, desireless supreme leader of the immortal sects!
If he wanted to raise her as a “great medicine,” then he shouldn't blame her, the “poisonous weed,” for turning on him and piercing his heart!
“Immortal Lord Ling Xu,” she transformed into human form, her violet eyes shimmering like a moon steeped in poison. She placed a fingertip against his icy chest. “That heart of yours, devoted to the merciless path... how about using it as an ingredient for my Dark Moon Pearl?”
False salvation, true trap, and the ultimate push and pull between two unhinged souls! Watch her tear the immortal lord apart
