[Transmigrate into a Book + Golden Finger + Male Rivals Competing for Her + Devoted Couple]
(The tsundere little princess who says one thing and means another vs. the scheming villain hostage prince)
Also known as The Colors of Jin Meet You in Peace
Song An'an transmigrates into a book and becomes Song Qing'an, a princess of noble birth and a notorious villainess in a historical romance novel.
According to the original plot, she will target the heroine because she likes the male lead, then die with a sword through her heart at the hands of the villain, who is in love with the heroine.
To stay alive, she has no intention of repeating the same mistakes. But she accidentally awakens a mysterious artifact spirit called Coal Ball, her one and only companion in this new world.
She only means to save Xie Jinheng, the villainous hostage prince, who is trapped in adversity and bullied by everyone, hoping he'll spare her life later. Who could have guessed that the wolf cub she rescued would grow increasingly fervent and possessive?
The plot keeps veering further off course.
Until one day, the former hostage prince becomes a battle-hardened new emperor and personally leads a million troops to the border of the Great Song. Looking down at her from beneath the city walls with a smile, he says, "I offer you my empire as a bride-price, Princess Qing'an."
On the wedding day, red robes blaze and the whole city buzzes with excitement.
The young general who always smiled and called her "Little Princess" has bloodshot eyes, though he pretends to sound casual: "You'll miss having me around to keep you entertained in the capital, won't you?"
"...All right, that's enough. Go live your life." He pauses. His smile turns a little bitter, but he still forces his head high. "If he ever wrongs you, the wine and mutton at the border are yours. I keep my word." With that, he turns his horse around. His purple robes snap in the wind as he rides toward the vast world that belongs to him, his back straight and resolute, without a trace of hesitation.
At their final meeting, covered in blood but still smiling, he says, "Little Princess, there is no more Ji Moyan in this world!"
