At the vibrant Ivy Vine Middle School, Lin Weiyan and Jiang Yi’s story quietly begins. Lin Weiyan is an excellent student with a reserved personality and a hidden passion for astronomy. Jiang Yi is sunny and handsome, full of energy on the basketball court, and just as fascinated by astronomy. A chance astronomy club activity brings their young hearts close together.
After that, they stroll together beneath the campus locust trees, sharing their dreams and secrets. In the observatory, they peer through telescopes to explore the mysteries of the universe, promising to chase the stars together. Their love takes root in every corner of the school, blossoming like spring flowers, pure and beautiful.
But fate turns without mercy. Jiang Yi is diagnosed with progressive muscular dystrophy, an incurable terminal illness. Rather than burden Lin Weiyan, he chooses to bear the pain alone and hide his condition in silence. As his illness worsens, his health steadily declines. His basketball dreams are shattered, and his journey of astronomical exploration is cut short. Even so, his love for Lin Weiyan never changes. In the limited time he has, he gives her endless tenderness and care in his own way.
Unaware of what is happening, Lin Weiyan continues to work hard toward her dreams. She gets into the university she has always wanted and begins advanced studies in astronomy. Meanwhile, Jiang Yi gradually loses strength in his fight against his illness. In the end, he leaves this world with his love and longing for Lin Weiyan.
