Lu Feng, an engineer specializing in mechanical prosthetics, accidentally receives the dying memories of “Clockmaker,” an agent who fought the Japanese during the war, while testing a neural interface. Forced into a struggle over quantum keys involving “Genesis,” a transnational tech organization, he discovers that the traitor “Squid’s” brand is etched into his own bloodline.
