In Chang'an of the Tang Dynasty, Su Dachen, the third daughter of the Minister of Rites' family, was an "extraterrestrial" - at the age of eighteen, she became the laughing stock of Chang'an's aristocratic circle because of her "eccentricities" such as "being able to calculate a chicken and a rabbit in the same cage", "being able to memorize the last ten digits of pi", and "daring to use Pythagorean theorem to calculate the area of cloth when bargaining with barbarians from the Western Regions".
