Sacred Relics of the Spirit Farmer

Spiritual energy has run dry, and corruption devours the world.

When the mortal boy Su Ling’s palm bleeds as he saves the last spirit herb in his family’s ancestral fields, the dormant Shennong bloodline within him quietly awakens. Armed with half a jade pendant from the Wood Spirit Clan and a yellowed copy of Notes of a Spirit Farmer, he leads his family down a thorny path:

Mortal Realm: Purify the wasteland with blood and grow plague-resistant golden wheat;

Spirit Mountain Sect: Wield the Sacred Spirit-Nurturing Pot and break the hundred-year deadlock in the herb garden;

Demon Mist Forest: Ally with the Wood Spirit Clan and seize the Dust-Cleansing Banner to suppress the tainted spring;

Immortal Realm Lake: Comprehend the Dao that unites life and death, and wield the Shennong Hoe to restore order to the world.

When the three clans take up arms against one another over the source of the corruption, he bends down and plants the final spirit seedling. With the furrows as his formation and his bloodline as its guide, he reenacts the sacred miracle of creation!

A farming tale + a family’s rise + a legendary quest to save the world. See how the son of a spirit farmer wields his hoe like a sword and cultivates a path where all things can coexist in an age when spiritual energy has run its course!
