A Journey Through Film and TV: The Ancient Azure Phoenix of the Xianxia Drama

Yun Wan was once an ancient Azure Phoenix. Reborn into the mortal world, she made a living gathering medicinal herbs. As turmoil engulfed the Three Realms and immortals and demons stood opposed, she blundered into a barrier around the Immortal Realm and found herself on the brink of death. A remnant soul in the Cangyan Sea awoke, and a sacred seal appeared in an ancient temple. By chance, she gained a golden finger. The Xilan Sacred Seal bound her fate to another’s, making them share joy and sorrow, life and death, and every wound. She could wield karmic flames with the power of Dongfang Qingcang, and even sense his shifting emotions. Though she had a mortal body, she now possessed the power of gods and demons. Her defiance of fate began here. While others were still fighting, she had already gone into seclusion with the Moon Supreme in Yunmeng Marsh. With the seal weakening and war breaking out once more, only she could protect the peace of the Three Realms. In the end, she would awaken the seven emotions, fuse the karmic flames with the sacred seal, break the chains of fate, forge peace between the Immortal and Moon Realms, and become the one and only true god in all history.
