A Metaphysics Master? Dear, Don't Believe the Rumors!

Two male leads. Mild horror and metaphysics. Not specifically aimed at male or female readers.

Lin Yu majored in chemistry. After graduating from college, he returned to his remote hometown to look after his father for a while. He used his chemistry expertise to help the villagers solve a few problems. Unbeknownst to him, some village gossip group had dubbed him a metaphysical master. The absurd thing was, people actually believed it. When he finally compared notes with a client, he realized something had gone terribly wrong: Lin Yu thought the client had hired him for a chemistry side job, while the client thought he was a master hired to exorcise evil spirits...

With Bai Yuqian backing him, Lin Yu swaggered around, throwing his weight about and doing whatever he pleased.
