Wu Xie, a modern-day delivery rider, is caught in an accident. When he opens his eyes, he has transmigrated into the depths of the mountains in 1935, becoming a helpless fifteen-year-old boy with no one to rely on. His grandfather is dead, and he has no family in sight when a mysterious System quietly awakens. He can earn points by killing Japanese soldiers, collaborators, and bandits, then use them to redeem World War II weapons and draw rare items.
The land is in chaos. Bandits run rampant, and the Japanese military's sinister ambitions are plain to see. Using his modern knowledge, Wu Xie improves tools and builds up his strength. Alongside his bold and sincere friend Zhao Hu, he launches his first attack, destroying a bandit stronghold. He exchanges his points for a Mauser pistol, making his first mark. Li Mei, a medically skilled young woman from a neighboring village, is moved by his ambition and joins him with her medicine chest, becoming the group's warm and steadfast support.
The smoke of the September 18 Incident has yet to clear, and the Japanese army presses forward at every turn. The cunning, ruthless officer Yamamoto Ichiro and Zhou Fugui, a collaborator who sells out his country for personal gain, appear one after another, bringing danger with them. Wu Xie uses the System's warnings to see through enemy disguises and secretly builds weapons from blueprints redeemed with points. He grows rapidly, from launching scattered ambushes to raising a resistance force, amid a hail of bullets. When Yamamoto Ichiro joins forces with bandits and collaborators to launch an all-out assault, Wu Xie calmly splits his troops and sets an ambush. He uses smoke grenades to throw the enemy into disarray, then takes them head-on with superior weapons. He kills the bandit chief and eliminates the collaborator, but also earns Yamamoto Ichiro's undying hatred, planting the seeds of an even greater crisis.
Afterward, he unites resistance forces from across the region and repeatedly breaks through Japanese encirclements with the System's help. He transforms from an inexperienced boy in the mountains into a resistance leader feared by the enemy. When the war enters its full-scale counteroffensive, he leads his troops into battle and witnesses the historic moment of Japan's surrender firsthand. With courage and ingenuity, amid the flames of war
Remember the history, remember the martyrs, and pay tribute to the heroes! Inherit the red gene and promote patriotism.
Very well written, keep up the good work.
It's not bad, it's pretty good-looking, but could the progress be faster and have more people fighting the Japanese?
