[One heroine: March 7th]
"The sunrise today is so beautiful..."
The king, fallen amid a sea of flowers, murmured to himself. Blood trickling from his waist stained the petals a vivid red.
He plucked a flower. Its petals faded from clear pink to blue. He held it to his nose and breathed in its fragrance.
How beautiful, how blissful...
He smiled gently.
Seven days ago, he had personally brought an end to a thousand years of war in the empire, ushering peace into the land.
He had forced himself to overcome his injuries and spent seven days stabilizing the realm, bringing peace to the world.
Then he handed over the throne and entrusted the crown to the minister he trusted most.
At last, all his pain erupted in a single night. Dragging his weary body, he came to this sea of flowers to watch one final sunrise.
Now, it was time for him to go...
Just as he was about to close his eyes in peace and depart,
the flames of war swept across the flower field.
What was happening?!
With his last breath, he forced himself to grip his sword. Coughing, he struggled to his feet, only to witness a despairing sight.
Countless starships flew overhead, raining blazing fire upon the homeland he loved.
That day, people saw a shooting star streak across the sky, pierce hundreds of starships, then be reduced to ash amid the artillery fire.
In the end, the king's wish was cruelly shattered.
The king awoke to find himself aboard a train traveling through the galaxy.
The writing is very good, better than mine, and I have become the protagonist for once, and it is a single heroine. I just hope the author can update it quickly. It is not enough to read, not enough to read at all 🤭
What can I say, I don't like this writing style. The protagonist's past can be written as a side story. If you directly intersperse it in the main text, it will directly dissuade 88% of people. Some people like to read it, and some people don't like to read it. Anyway, I skipped over the protagonist's past, and my impression of this book dropped by two degrees.
✋🏻😭🤚🏻So pretty and spicy, Zhongcheng
