[Li Mingda + adorable child + daily life + Tang Dynasty]

During the Zhenguan era, Chang’an’s most beloved little princess, Li Mingda, nicknamed Xiao Sizi, had just turned three and a half.

She had a round face, big, shining eyes, and a healing smile capable of melting glaciers.

This tiny little girl, not even as tall as an adult’s waist, could make the dignified Emperor Taizong of Tang put down his memorials and play house with her,

make the usually stern Wei Zheng crack a smile, and persuade the cold-faced general Yuchi Gong to happily act as her “big horse.”
