Chen Xi, an ordinary deliveryman, is bitten by a poisonous snake in an accident. At death's door, he mistakenly eats a mysterious wild fruit and awakens an incredible power: control over mutated plants! Bloodthirsty snake bamboo as his whip, towering vines as his shield, countless flowers and grasses as poison, withered wood and rotting corpses as food! From an F-rank rookie to the pinnacle of SSS rank, he turns plants into weapons and the earth into his stronghold as he climbs to the top one step at a time.
“Hit the jackpot? Financial freedom?” Chen Xi gives his wrist, wrapped in snake-patterned vines, a flick as he gazes at the hundred-thousand-strong army of plants behind him. “Sorry, but the fate of the entire world is now in my hands!”
When a rift to the demon realm tears open and a trillion demons descend, when international powers begin to stir and schemes intertwine, Chen Xi and his demon-hunting squad step forward! A sharp-tongued Taoist from Hebei, a burly boxer from Shandong, a flower monk from Henan, a charming young Tang Clan girl from Sichuan, a cool-headed intelligence officer, a dual-blade fighter who can teleport... Their dialect-fueled bickering brings endless laughs, and they fight side by side, sharing life and death!
Burn the demon lairs, split the sky with thunder, poison ten thousand demons, and sever bone and blood with gold! Watch Chen Xi lead them all, using Blue Star as their shield and plants as their blade, as they cut their way through the demon realm and forge an immortal legend for China's superpowered warriors!
