In 2023, Chen Ping, a calm and rational forensic doctor, was accidentally electrocuted to death after working overtime continuously to deal with a bizarre serial murder case. When she opened her eyes again, she found that she was Chen Ping, an orphan girl with the same name who lived in Shanghai in 1935 and was in dire straits because her father (former police officer) was fired for alcoholism.
