I’m a Taotie Devourer! Subduing the Blue Star’s Ferocious Beasts

On March 6, 2050, ten years ago, spiritual qi revival began on Blue Star. All life on the planet underwent three spiritual qi tides, and each one caused some humans, animals, and marine creatures to evolve. Humans who failed to evolve through all three tides could no longer sense spiritual power or practice martial arts, and could only strengthen their bodies to fight the ferocious beasts. Animals and marine creatures, however, all evolved, at the cost of becoming ferocious beasts. Until they reach three-star strength, they are all berserk, driven only by their instincts to kill and feed. Once they reach three stars, they develop rudimentary intelligence and can control ferocious beasts of their own species.
