Saw

Surgeon Zhou Mingyuan wakes from a coma to find himself imprisoned in a gloomy basement. An iron chain locks his right foot in place, its other end attached to a bomb powerful enough to blow apart his lower body. An old tape recorder plays a cold, mechanical voice: “Find the key within six hours, or die.”

Just as he thinks he is merely the prey of some madman, an even more brutal truth comes to light: his wife, Lin Yue, has also been kidnapped and trapped in another secret room, with a deadly neurotoxin hanging above her head. The key can save only one person. If he unlocks his own chain, the countdown to his wife's death will speed up. If he gives up on escaping, he will have to watch her die in agony.

As time runs out, Zhou Mingyuan realizes that this “game” is no random ordeal. It is a judgment of his past. Every trap forces him to confront the sins he has kept hidden. Pushed to the limits of his body and his conscience, he must choose: sacrifice himself, or betray the person closest to him? And the true purpose of the mastermind known as “Jigsaw” is only just beginning to emerge…
