After receiving a garbled notification, Xu Tangxi is dragged into the Endless Sea, a map within the apocalypse game Ocean Survival, ahead of schedule.
She starts with only a small wooden raft. Although the game has been deployed, it's still merging and hasn't officially launched, leaving her the only player in the vast sea.
What's more, with the game not yet officially launched, she can't earn points or buy items in the shop. She can only long for all the things inside, without being able to obtain them.
Just as she's about to die of dehydration, she binds to a Survival System and draws the divine item "Apple of the Supreme God" from the beginner's gift pack.
Even luckier, the apple comes with a small island called Apple Island.
The apples on Apple Island are cheeky little troublemakers, leaving her both exasperated and fond of them. Still, thanks to those apples, she builds up a sizable fortune before the apocalypse game officially launches.
One month after the apocalypse game Ocean Survival is deployed, the Endless Sea finishes merging and the game officially launches worldwide. All humans on Blue Star become players.
Everyone starts with a small wooden raft and has to dive for supplies, or complete basic quests to earn points and trade them for tools.
The problem is that even the smallest sea base costs ten thousand points. How could anyone have such a huge island from the start? Could she be an NPC?
Most importantly, if they want to set foot on her island, they have to have bought her apples before entering the game.
They regret it. They really regret it. Who knew that ad was telling the truth!
