"The Beauty of the Tang Dynasty Shines on Today" tells the story of four young people, represented by Zhuge Jin, who forged an indissoluble bond with traditional culture and insisted on inheriting it in college and in the years after graduation.
Zhuge Jin is deeply involved in the field of guqin. From his time in college, he studied musical scores of different genres, restored lost Tang music, and later founded "Jinyin Qin Club" teaches children to play and spends a lifetime making the sound of the guqin transcend time; Gu Yu uses photography as a blade to focus on intangible heritage, from recording school days to traveling around to photograph craftsmen, using the lens to capture the warmth of fireworks and craftsmanship; Su Muyan is immersed in the literature of the Tang Dynasty Studies, integrating academics and creation, wrote the "Chang'an Qinshi" series of novels, allowing traditional culture to circulate in words; Shangguan Xuan and Li Ting devoted themselves to archeology and cultural relic protection, from studying the history of the Tang Dynasty on campus to protecting cultural relics in Dunhuang, making historical fragments shine again.
The four of them supported each other in their youthful years. Although they went their separate ways after graduation, they always focused on the main line of cultural inheritance and used their own methods to stick to their love. The novel connects the innocence on campus, the challenges in the workplace, and the accumulation of time, showing a generation of young people's awe and inheritance of traditional culture, and playing a song that echoes across thousands of years.
