This is the first installment of Jianghu Tales: A City. It is a fantastical martial-arts story. Two great families, the Muyuan clan, the foremost family of the Central Plains martial world, and the Jade Pearl Pavilion, the leading family of Jiangnan, engage in fierce rivalry. Together with Qinghe Manor, an alliance of assassins, they create a jianghu drenched in blood and violence. But who will ultimately emerge victorious?
The story begins when a young man from Shu in central Sichuan and a young bandit from the frontier are driven by circumstance to form a pair of wandering heroes and venture into the jianghu. In Shengzhou City, they meet the head escort of the Jiangnan escort agency, Blue Mountain Escort Agency, and the three become sworn brothers. Are they drawn into the conflict by accident, or is this simply the way of the jianghu?
The strongest female lead will appear at the end of Part One.
