Everyday Life with Nagi, My Childhood Friend

“Nagi, hurry up! We'll be late for soccer club practice!” Sunlight streamed through the gaps between the leaves, scattering gold across the ground. A girl with a high ponytail and eyes as bright as black gemstones stood at the entrance to a traditional Japanese house, shouting inside.

Inside, a silver-haired boy slowly hauled himself out of bed, still bleary-eyed and clutching a game controller. “This is such a pain... Let me sleep a little longer...” he mumbled.

“Seishiro Nagi!” the girl shouted louder, hands on her hips as she looked ready to storm inside.

At last, the boy reluctantly got up, casually pulled on a sweatshirt, and dragged his feet outside, making sure to bring his Switch with him.
