When the skies above Terra tore apart, the main ship of Rhodes Island didn't crash. Instead, it was flung into the boundless sea of stars, a vast universe of Aeons, Paths, the Astral Express, and countless interstellar civilizations. The Doctor was gravely injured and fell unconscious in the shock of the transport. Doctor Kal'tsit took command in the crisis, steering this “ark,” laden with Infected, warriors, and hope, as it drifted among unfamiliar stars.
In this universe known as Honkai: Star Rail, Originium is no longer a disaster unique to Terra. Like a deadly cosmic spore, it quietly spreads between the stars, sparking panic. Rhodes Island, a vessel carrying the last embers of Terra's medicine and resistance, unexpectedly becomes key to combating this interstellar “Oripathy.” They encounter the Astral Express crew, who follow the Path of Trailblaze, and are drawn into the grand schemes of the Interastral Peace Corporation, the Antimatter Legion, and even the mysterious Aeons.
