Introduction to "Black Pao Well"
Deep in the Wulong Mountains of Yunnan, an Oolong Well hides the fears of generations. Seven-year-old Mu Jingshan secretly drank well water and saw two black snakes intertwined at the bottom of the well. From then on, he was haunted by the curse of "disaster to those who see it" - the third grandfather's cattle went crazy and died suddenly, the new daughter-in-law Chuntao died violently after going crazy, and the cowherd boy bled to death... All the strange things pointed to the dragon cave behind the well. The black coffin in the cave, the hallucinogenic river water, and the black-robed figure wearing a straw hat, like an invisible net, covered the entire village.
Many years later, Mu Jingshan returned to his hometown with geological knowledge and tried to use science to dismantle the "curse": the water in Long Cave contained hallucinogenic bacteria, low-frequency sound waves caused panic, and the black coffin was an ancient sacrificial relic... But his father's trembling diagnosis record, his grandfather's death secret, and his son's "Grandpa in Black Robe" when he had a nosebleed pulled him back into the supernatural fog. After teaming up with Fa Xiaoshi Gandang and outsider Zhao Bingkun to explore the cave, he discovered: What was locked in the black coffin was not evil spirits, but the unspoken guilt of his ancestors; the figure in black robe was not the water god, but the awe passed down from generation to generation; the so-called "curse" was just a warning of the imbalance between man and nature.
From the day the black coffin was dug up in the Republic of China, from the year Ding Sitian died in the Dragon Cave, from the moment grandpa buried the stone tablet, the answer has been hidden in the ancestral motto of "respect, and you will be safe." When Mu Jingshan erected a new monument in Bazi, when the water in Long Cave reflected the reflection of red camellia, and the sound of water in Oolong Well finally ceased to be a wailing sound - it was the landscape responding: If you can maintain awe, I can maintain peace.
This is not a mystery story, but a reconciliation that spans hundreds of years.
