Lu Yao Knows Ma Li

The childhood friendship between Qin Luyao and Qin Mali began partway through their childhood, and fate twisted them together like vines that seemed impossible to separate. They both had the surname Qin, and “siblings” was the identity they were most used to, and the safest one. Qin Luyao considered protecting Qin Mali only natural, never realizing that his deep concern for her had already seeped into his bones.

But as feelings nurtured over the years quietly blossomed, Qin Luyao began to feel lost. Was the attachment he could not let go of in his heart familial affection, or love that had quietly changed into something else? The blurred line left him in turmoil.

Bright and captivating by nature, Qin Mali had long been used to being the “little tagalong” behind Qin Luyao. Then their ambiguous relationship struck through her naivete like a bolt of lightning. When Qin Mali decided to end things, Qin Luyao’s world collapsed in an instant. All his confusion faded, and the boundaries he had pretended to uphold for so long came crashing down. The feelings he had suppressed for years burst forth.

“Hey, we’re just siblings who don’t share either parent...”
