Rising from Poverty: My System Is So Proper

A modern agricultural PhD student’s soul transmigrates into a dying boy from a poor family in ancient times and binds to a “proper farming System” whose ultimate goal is to “end famine across the land.” The System’s rewards are all “proper” things: high-yield crop seeds, plans for advanced farming tools, and basic agricultural techniques.

Starting from the brink of death, Lin Mo, the name he takes after transmigrating, draws on modern knowledge and the proper System. Beginning with a single acre of poor farmland, he grows high-yield crops, improves farming tools, builds irrigation works, and develops the village, steadily accumulating strength and prestige. Along the way, he must not only contend with natural disasters, land concentration, and exploitation by colluding officials and merchants, but also change deeply rooted small-farmer attitudes and the lethargy of the bureaucracy. His ultimate goal is to ensure that no one under heaven goes hungry, while gradually uncovering the secrets behind the System and the reason for his transmigration.
