Thousands of Years to Come

At the end of the twenty-first century, nuclear war broke out, the world was in turmoil, and nuclear radiation swept the world. The horrific nuclear war destroyed cities, sunk mountains, and caused tsunamis thousands of meters high to sweep across the world. Humanity was almost extinct. Thousands of years after the nuclear war, humans also experienced genetic mutations in their battles with viruses and radiation, and their bodies mutated and acquired various strange powers. As a result, humans erased the past and it was called the New Human Era. Those with strange powers were called evolvers or practitioners.
