[Gentle, dignified heir apparent & playful, dramatic assassin + mutually devoted couple + sweet romance + two strong leads]
Years ago, a devastating flood destroyed Li Zhiqiu’s home. She fled with her elder brother to the capital, only to become separated from him.
Through a twist of fate, she became the finest assassin in Prince Jing’s manor.
After a month-end trial, the frail heir apparent, Tan Qian, took her under his wing.
She thought Tan Qian saw her only as a blade for killing. Little did she know that the refined, aloof, and dignified young lord had been plotting to win her over for a long time.
Li Zhiqiu had planned to use Tan Qian to find her brother, but when he laid bare his ardent love for her without reservation, she was thrown into a panic.
Li Zhiqiu asked him, “Aren’t you afraid I’m using you?”
He simply replied, “That’s not using me. You’re just borrowing my abilities to do what you want. If there’s something you can’t manage, I’ll help you. Since I love you, I’m willing to give you everything.”
A game of mutual testing between a fake invalid and a genuine drama queen of a milk-colored cat.
The first to fall in love isn’t the loser, and the one who falls later isn’t the one who loses.
