Gene agent Ji Han breaks into a gene research facility controlled by a mysterious organization to save his imprisoned younger sister, Ji Xue. There he discovers that his sister is the key “vessel” needed to open the dimensional gate. During the rescue, he is shocked to learn that he and his sister are both the products of their parents' genetic experiments, and that Dr. Mo, the mentor he trusted, is actually a senior figure in the enemy organization. When the siblings escape the facility, Ji Xue's unstable power sends them into the rift between dimensions. There, they must learn to synchronize their abilities to fight Moria and the dimensional beings on the verge of arriving.
