Wen Liman’s greatest dream in this life was simply to eat something delicious.
In her previous life, she was a food blogger who chased ingredients across mountains and fields. Then she stepped into empty space and transmigrated into a little palace maid who had just been beaten at the orders of a noble. She hadn’t even gotten to taste the Imperial Kitchen’s food before being served a beating.
The late emperor died, and she endured it. The new emperor ascended the throne, and she endured that too. After three years of keeping her head down, she finally made it to the day she was released from the palace. She ran without looking back. She would rather set up a food stall in the capital than return to the family that had sold her off.
But she must have picked the “bad luck” trait. Her stall had barely been up for a few days when a local gangster smashed her cookware. Then she got caught up in a murder case and was taken away as a suspect by the Court of Judicial Review.
Even while sitting in jail, she wondered: Was I going to die because of food in this life, too?
But before they even questioned her, she was released. On her way out, she heard that the Court of Judicial Review’s cafeteria needed a cook. It was a government job with a guaranteed salary and three meals a day.
She applied on the spot and was hired in an instant. From then on, she became the most popular woman in the Court of Judicial Review.
Shen Yanzhou, assistant minister of the Court of Judicial Review, came from a distinguished family and solved cases like a god. Usually, he was so cold he might as well have been an ice spirit, and anyone who got too close would freeze. Yet he was always the first to sit down at mealtime.
At first, he thought he was there to investigate cases. Later, he realized he only wanted to come for the food.
Wen Liman didn’t solve cases, but with a single pot, she won over the stomachs of everyone in the Court of Judicial Review, and even won the heart of an assistant minister.
Life, after all, is about eating your fill first, then falling in love. Wen Liman thought this was a great deal!
I'll make up for it. It's not as bad as that one said, but I'm not saying it's particularly good either. It's the kind of thing I read when I was passing time or couldn't find a transitional period that was more in line with my taste. It has some minor bugs, but it's not a big problem. The writing is ok, the writing is average and relatively new. When I see the rental house, it doesn't seem to have any bad points. I'll add more after I read it.
If you want to write ancient Chinese language, don't mix it with internet slang.
Is the male protagonist the one named Shen or the one named Lu?
Very good looking, highly recommended
Read Chapter 16 and looking forward to the follow-up
It looks great. It looks great. Please update it quickly.
Very beautiful, the heroine has a sense of proportion
Come on, [asking for explosive updates] [asking for explosive updates] [asking for explosive updates] [asking for explosive updates] [asking for explosive updates] [asking for explosive updates], super beautiful💕💕💕💕
It looks pretty good so far It's not bad. I feel like it could be written as a pure group portrait or food story. At the moment, I can't see any sparks between the male and female protagonists.
Very interesting book, very nice to read
