Pure love with a touch of angst, a slow-burn story with a single heroine, Firefly
Combining elements from Honkai: Star Rail, Genshin Impact, Arknights, and more
In the year 7310, Earth’s rusting utopia has sunk into ruin. Interstellar colonization is a thing of the past, and the United Earth Government alters the genes of newborns so humanity can scrape by beneath a setting sun.
They raise the scythe of “thinning” high, cutting away every imperfection. Yan Mixia, an albino baby, is hurled into a wormhole furnace. The only spark among trillions of stillborn children, she tumbles into the alien world of Serandil.
Among the thousand-star network steeped in magical essence, Xianzhou suspends medicine gourds to treat abominations, Terra buries catastrophes beneath Originium, Teyvat’s seven nations wage endless wars, and Penacony weaves dream nets of golden thread...
Thousands of civilizations whisper, fight, and dance together on Serandil.
Firefly curls up inside the Originium Arts life-support pod Kal'tsit built, like a dying flame sealed in icy amber. Neon from New Eridu dances across Silver Wolf’s fingertips, while Hollow disasters bloom across the screens.
Here, even life and death are glazed with stardust.
When an undying asura smashes through the cold light of the space station Herta, when a silver mech tears apart the alarm system, they steal a swaddled infant, then reshape a gray-haired girl’s Trailblazing body amid a flood of data...
And so, the twins who will change the world are born.
“Kafka... If the people of Serandil learn he comes from a sinful race that stained a thousand stars with blood...” Firefly’s fingertips brush the baby’s hair as she softly speaks of a dark future...
“In the script...” Kafka draws the baby close to her heart. “He’ll always be our little painter...”
Years later, when the fate of the end looms over Xia, amid gunfire and cries of grief, he will remember that afternoon when he and Firefly chased Slimes at Windrise in Mondstadt. Her silver hair was dusted with dandelions. She was the most beautiful girl in the universe...
